The Fitting
2-3 hours in the LA or NY studio. Cut, styled, blended, taped. You leave looking like you — only fully. Secured with a $150 deposit, credited toward your unit.

The Maintenance
Return every four to six weeks for service. Re-tape, refresh, recolour where needed, and a quick cut to keep the line clean.

Wave to TwistLock.
Eleven hand-built unit styles. Each priced by the work it takes — wave and straight are the most-requested, the textured and braided builds take more time at the bench, and the short-wear options exist for clients on a different cadence.
Soft, natural movement. The most-requested unit in the studio. Daily wear.
Clean lines, executive cut. Quiet and exact — the everyday standard.
Tight sponge twist set, sculpted by hand. Even density across the cap.
Loose curls with height. Full coverage, generous body, hand-shaped top.
Tight curl, full density, lifted top. Hand-knotted for definition that holds.
Twist set, defined and locked. A premium build with longer bench time.

How the work actually goes.
Six weeks, four steps, one chair. Most clients are on a steady cadence by week three.
Consult + match
We sit down, look at the work you’ve come from (if any), and assess what your hairline, density, and lifestyle actually need. Colour samples go against your existing hair. Most of this is listening — what’s worked, what hasn’t, what you’ve been told that turned out to be wrong.
Build the unit
The unit is hand-tied to your measurements. Real human hair, colour-matched in studio, density set to your hairline. No outsourcing — every knot is tied here, by hand.
For a custom blend (white-blonde, two-tone, sun-touched), the colour work happens in three small sittings rather than one — the finish is closer to grown-out hair than a single dye job ever gets.
Fit, cut, walk out
Private appointment in either studio. The unit is taped in, cut to your face shape, and blended with your existing hair. We finish with a wash and style — by the time you leave, the work is invisible.
Return every 4–6 weeks
Maintenance keeps the unit clean and the line sharp. Most clients book three months in advance. A well-cared-for unit lasts six to twelve months before replacement, depending on how hard you wear it.
